What does SRG stands for?
Soot Raaeng Geert means “with all (one’s) might, energy, power and strength”, is means to give your best, to give your all, until your last breath, SOOT RAAENG GEERT. But those are only words.
To us SRG means Family. SRG means my dream, our dream, it’s what push me to work hard every day, it’s not easy to be a Brazilian here in this amazing country, we’re tested every day, and we have to deal with daily challenges, wasn’t easy in the past when I use to work in the construction sites and is not easy now. Over the years I heard people saying choose a job that you love and you will never have to work one day in your life.
So right now I can say that SRG also means pleasure, it’s amazing to have the opportunity to wake up every day and have the chance to work with amazing people, to have the opportunity to make someone feel better with my talent and with my passion, Muay Thai.
That’s what we do at SRG, that’s what we try to do every week, improve the health of our students and bring them to our world. Simply because we are addicted to it, once you start Muay Thai there is no coming back.
We’re a family, and that’s easy to see and understand. We proud ourselves for taking a different business approach, we use our hearts first, and usually it ends there, it’s not all about money. That’s the same dream that I had when I started to fight. When you’re just a young fighter and start to dream about your own gym, you dream about a simple gym, with only the necessary and that you would give your blood, sweat and tears to keep it like that, yeah sometimes we even forget that we need the money, my heart is still the same, I just want to have the best gym that I can and always keep my family the closest that I can. Honestly to lose a single one of you guys does an enormous difference for us. SRG is our family.
SRG is my life, where I try to apply all the things that are important to me, where I come every day to feel alive and to prove to myself that all the sacrifices we have been through were worth it. Life is not about complaining, everyone is fighting their own battle every day. Life is about to use the problems like a step, as motivation, the only thing that should justify a step back is if you’re trying to take some impulse to go even higher. We don’t work with excuses, just with actions, they will always speak louder than the worlds.
I’m thankful for all the people that SRG brought to me, not only friends but one big and amazing family, and of course, the opportunity to do what I love every day. I feed my family and my soul with that energy, that is what makes me feel complete. SRG is not only my life, is my world.
