Not the weekend we expected, but again, another weekend that we learnt a lot.
Some rough decisions by the refs, and that is the reason that we need to step up our game, and never leave it up to the judges. Unfortunately we have some very unprepared judges and referees for Muay Thai in NSW.
Mike SRG Brown had his first fight and did us all very proud. Very calm, confident and with a great attitude, Mike fought well, kept his pace all throughout the fight and even made us think that he was going to walk out with his hand raised. He can easily drop a couple of divisions and we will be back stronger than ever.
Leonie Soot Raaeng Geert had a though day in the office. Fought really well, had her game plan on track, connected a lot of rib kicks, some even perfectly sharp, but it wasn’t enough for the ref’s to give it her way. Clair Baxter showed that she is a great fighter, with a great reach, kept her distance and tried to impose her game, which it was very well played.
Both walked out with a taste that more was needed to be given, but the crowd loved and the ref’s decided for Claire.
For those who came to support us, a special thank you. With all the events during this year, we can’t thank you enough for been there with us.
To all of our sponsors, a Big Thank You. Without you we would not be able to be where we are.
And to all of those that want to know what’s next? 6th of December we got REAL HERO MUAY THAI!!!! HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!!
