Another great day on the making for all the Muay Thai enthusiasts. The ones that have been training for a while, stepped up on their game and are now ready to have their first go in the ring, will all have their opportunity in the coming weeks.
SRG Thai Boxing Gym is hosting another Muay Thai Australia Development Day at the gym, on the 26th of August from 1pm.
Weight ins are at 12pm (lunch time) and first fight is at 1pm sharp.
The event has been a huge success throughout the year growing not only the interest in Muay Thai but also the awareness in the importance of the practice of sports along the community.
Everyone that has been pushing themselves and have been rewarded with the opportunity to have their first bouts are all thrilled with this type of event, where in a safe and respectful environment they can do their thing and feel the enjoyment of having a real fight.
From SRG Thai Boxing Gym we will have several students representing us and also all the local Muay Thai community will be well represented by the best Muay Thai Academies of Sydney.
The event is sanctioned by Muaythai Australia NSW (MTA) which is the official representative or the World Muay Thai Council (WMC) in Australia. MTA has been growing enormously for the last couple of years having now more than 20 member gym, the association is on the right path of promoting and developing our Martial Art on the best way possible. If you wish to participate of our event on the 26th of August, make sure to be registered with the Combat Sports Authority as an Amateur combatant, that your trainer is also a registered trainer with the CSA and to CLICK HERE to register your details for matches.
