Not the results we expected this weekend in 2 really though battles at Annihilation 14, another Full Force Gym Show at the St Mary’s Band Club.
First we had Tracy SRG Allesina representing us in the 3rd bout of the evening. The bout started with her opponent, from the local academy, Mertella Ventigan, swinging for the fences and having a really strong pace she dominated most of the fight and outscored Tracy winning by points decision.
Then we had the main event of the evening, with Dillon SRG Gauci vs Cruz Briggs from 8 Limbs. Cruz is a well known recently turned pro Muay Thai fighter that made a statement on the Amateur scene and it definitely looks like he will be doing the same on the Pro cards. Dillon started the fight really well, to be honest with you, this is the best we have even seen Dillon starting a battle, but unfortunately he got caught and had two stand 8 counts by the ref that finished the fight before the end of the first round. Congratulation to Cruz on this victory, it was a great fight.
Dillon will be back soon, with the heart of a lion all he wants is to get back in the ring and we can’t admire him enough for such attitude with our beloved Martial Art.
Few things with the SRG Fight Team in the next days, our instructor Petchtawan “Ching” Soot Raaeng Geert will be fighting in Brisbane this weekend, on the 23rd against Odin “Damage”Daniels.
We hope you all have a great day and come enjoy some authentic Muay Thai Classes with us at SRG Thai Boxing Gym. You are all invited for a FREE TRIAL!
