Another action packed weekend for SRG Thai Boxing Gym and the Muay Thai lovers from all corners of Australia.
In Sydney we had 3 combatants representing us at Siam2Sydney Promotions at the Auburn Basketball Centre. Great show with incredible match ups form start to finish as well as an authentic Thai atmosphere for the likes of all Thai Boxing enthusiasts.
To start our day we had our young gun and golden prodigy Adam SRG Singdam Kaewphaluek fighting on a re match against Bailey. What a display of great technique from both boys, so controlled and beautiful to watch. This time around Singdam got his hand raised by outscoring his opponent in every round and the whole stadium jumped.
Then we had Huw SRG Davies fighting against Jordan Baki for the MTA NSW Title. Huw started well and had some nice kicks but didn’t connect with Jordan’s clinching style and got outscored on the judges card. Lost by unanimous decision to Jordan that became even stronger from the last time they fought.
To close our night of action in Sydney we had Patrick Soot Raaeng Geert coming back to the fight game and god we missed him up there. One of the biggest hearts a fighter could ever have period. Got caught right in the start of the fight with some heavy hands followed by some elbows that opened him above his eye. It was truly inspirational to see him taste that blood and come back to give his opponent the hardest of times and by the eyes of many taking the fight with a 2nd and 3rd round clear win. Not the same eyes the judges had that gave him a split lost decision and made him eve hungrier to come back.
In Melbourne we had Golf Soot Raaeng Geert fighting at Powerplay Promotions and came out with a good and clear win for our corner closing our weekend with 4 Fights 2 Wins and 2 Losses.
This Saturday coming the 30th of March we will have a MNSW Development Day here at SRG Thai Boxing Gym and it will be great to see you all here! See you at training SOOT RAAENG GEERT!
