Last weekend was busy to the SRG Fight Team. First to step in the ring on Friday was Ching Soot Raaeng Geert at the War in the West, he performed great again and his kicks were sharp as always. Ching was confident to fight after a great training camp and a well planned schedule to drop his weight.
Showing an authentic Thai Style he was strong with a perfect defence and keeping his distance from his opponent always counter attacking with strong kicks on his opponent forearm and ribs. Our corner did a good job and helped him to perform the best strategy to finish his fight on the fourth round after consecutives kicks in his opponent ribs forcing the referee to stop the combat.
On Saturday we had Stellios Hountalas and Ash Geissler fighting at the MTA Development Day. The boys trained hard for this opportunity and even with the count of 1 win and 1 lose we are proud to see them looking forward to stepping inside the ring again representing the SRG familia. Stelios fought for the second time representing the SRG and we could see how much he has improved since his first fight winning it by points and Ash had his first development day and even with the lose by points he demonstrated a lot of potential to become a good fighter.
Last but not least was our youngest fighter, Louis Soot Raaeng Geert Fox, fighting in Queensland at the Siam Cup, he was mentally prepared for his upcoming battle but unfortunately for the second time we were surprised with an opponent change without any notice and it was a big turnaround for Louis as he had to fight against a heavier opponent.
He did good trying to show his skills inside the ring but wasn’t enough to bring the win back to Sydney, Louis will work even harder for his upcoming fight to improve his record as Muay Thai fighter.
