Another amazing weekend for the Muay Thai community of NSW. Awesome fights from start to finish at War on the North Shore 36 at North Sydney Leagues Club.
We had 3 Boxers from SRG Thai Boxing Gym and they performed well above our expectations.
First we had our youngster Adam Singdam SRG Kaew, stepping up in the ring on a real show for the first time with only 15 years of age and 5kg lighter than his opponent. Singdam did us all really proud, seriously proud. We never expected him to fight the way he did, being lighter and younger he still pushed the pace and specially in the later rounds, took control of the bout and made us all jump of our seats. The result wasn’t in his favour (we are not too sure why, the referee even gave Singdam an 8 count for tripping over) but we have to say that it was a while since we had fun like that watching a fight.
Second we had Tracy SRG Allesina representing us against Felicity Loiterton from Stockade Gym. The fight was great but Felicity was stronger and control the bout and deserved another win to her record. Tracy is already back at training and working on sharpening her skills.
To close the night and as the main event of the show, we had Huw SRG Davies fighting against Nathan Rowes from VT1 Gym. Huw put into practice everything he worked with his trainers. Weathered the storm at the start, knowing that Nathan would come out strong, using his fast hands and great low kicks. The to push up the pace on the later rounds, having Nathan running out of steam and unable to keep it up. Huw SRG Davies is now the MASA NSW Super Lightweight Champion! Congrats to you mate and to all that fought on the day. Great display of skills all around.
Huwsie is back in action on the 31st of August at the next J.N.I. Promotions Show, together with his training partners Nattakit SRG Golf and Jessica SRG Neville. Come support us at the well renowned Hurstville Entertainment Centre, Friday the 31st of August from 6pm. TICKETS FOR SALE AT RECEPTION. See you all at training SOOT RAAENG GEERT!
