Yep, this is not the beginning of the fighting year we expected but there is nothing left for us than to work even harder to get them Wins.
This past weekend we had to of our upcoming fighters battling at another MNSW Development Day. This time down in Sutherland at the Double Dragon Gym we had Eamon SRG Smith and Jale SRG Knight representing us having their second and first fight respectively.
Eamon struggle a bit from the start, found a bit difficult to find his range and was outclassed by his opponent on the Battle of the Irishman of the day. He did much better then from his first fight, and he also felt that, making the whole experience an even better one.
Jale fought really well for his first fight, showed great heart and went hard all the way to the end. His opponent was s bit fitter and sharper than him, but in the heavy weight division it works like that sometimes. You get an opponent a little lighter than you that can move heaps faster and gives you lots of trouble. Jale is a great prospect and we can’t wait to see him back in the ring.
9th of March is coming with a Kids Grading and a BBQ Bash here at SRG Thai Boxing Gym. Doing our best to keep the developing of Muay Thai in Sydney, we will have the Kids Grading followed by an internal BBQ Bash, so we can all have a bit of fun and enjoy some Brazilian BBQ. If you wish to take part on either one of the events, please make sure to come past the reception to sign up.
On the 30th of March, we will have a MNSW Development Day here at SRG Thai Boxing Gym.
See you all at training! Soot Raaeng Geert!
