9th of March is coming and there is another busy day for us at SRG Thai Boxing Gym.
From 9am we will have the so awaited SRG Kids Grading. An in house method developed by our head coach Luis Regis and our trainers here at SRG to give the kids an opportunity to have something to look forward, to work towards. We all know that there isn’t any grading systems in Traditional Muay Thai and that students should progress through their training until they have a fight (if they wish to do so), but for kids is slightly different, with all other martial arts and sports for children offering them some kind of reward for achieving a certain level, we fell that this could make our little ones work a little bit harder.
We have done this twice in the past already, having a few of the SRG Kids graded and now committing to have this done twice a year.
After that, we will have a BBQ Bash, where we will have the SRG Students attending an sparring session here with us and then moving on to the garage to have a tasty BBQ with us all. It will be a great and busy day and everyone that feels like they want to have a little sparring on a Saturday, GO PAST THE RECEPTION AND SIGN UP. It’s pretty similar from what we do on Tuesdays and Thursdays here in the gym but with a nice BBQ and some cold beverages to follow.
Today we have 2 SRG Boxers representing us in QLD, Adam SRG Singdam and Cale SRG Wild at the Siam Cup Juniors Muay Thai. Chok Dee Krap boys, have the time of your lives. SOOT RAAENG GEERT!
